Louis Faudot dedicated
his life to his vineyard. He was awarded a Certificate of Honor
in 1896 by the Wine Growers Society of Arbois for his research on
seedlings and grafting of young plants as a means to better quality
and prevention of phylloxera infection. The same year, Louis Faudot
won two silver medals at the Paris Agriculture Show: one for his
white wine and another one for his "Paille" wine.
Today, Michel Faudot and Jean-Pierre Martin--heirs to this long
tradition of methods steeped in history--produce precious wines
with more than a century of know-how.
